    A Cancun Vacation

We took our first real spring break this past year with a trip to Cancun, Mexico. Jake and I love traveling, and do it as much as our schedules allow us to. Usually we travel to where we can do a lot of walking and outdoor adventures, so going to an all-inclusive was a bit outside of our comfort zone. I’m happy to say that we had an amazing time. 80 degrees in March is unheard of for Minnesotans. Our Galtinburg & Knoxville Vacation

Back in August, we traveled to Gatlinburg for our first vacation together in over two years, and I’m just now getting around to sharing the details. I know, I know, way behind. Our schedules have been crazy ever since we got back and I haven’t been balancing it very well (obviously). The last time I traveled to Duluth, I went solo to see a power lifting meet, and that was two summers ago. I’ve also been up there for Grandma’s Marathon, which is an experience in itself. If you’re in driving distance to Duluth, I definitely recommend it. Our trip start early Friday morning, we drove up early so had the majority of the day to explore. After we arrived, we were all hungry so we grabbed an early lunch at Grandma’s Restaurant,…

    My 2018 Goals

Another year has come and gone, so here I am with my 2018 goals. I’ve been sharing my New Year’s resolutions for two years now, and while I may not have always reached those goals I enjoy the idea of having them public for the accountability. It’s also a nice way to have a journal-esque log of what I’ve wanted to do over the years and watch myself grow and change. 2017 has been an experience. I’ve gone through challenging times before, but this past year has come with the most changes, challenges, and growth. I won’t go too into my grievances as I’d much rather focus on the positives…
