    Sauted Spinach & Veggies

This recipe was inspired by my most recent favorite channel I’ve added to my YouTube subscription. I recently checked out Yami Mufdi’s YouTube channel after following her on Instagram for a while and I’ve been loving her videos as she prepares for her next show. I’m kind of at an in between point with my fitness goals and what I’m working towards, and I’m looking for new inspirations, and seeing her persevere through her meal plan while while sticking to some intense workouts makes me feel like I can do anything. She shared this dish in a video a few weeks back and for some reason it sounded delishes! I’ve been…

Tofurky and Cucumber Wrap | Recipe of the Week

This week’s recipe of the week is super simple and great for summer. I decided to switch to maintenance calories and macros this past week, seeing as summer is here which means more social hours and eating out. New macros means more carbs! Not a ton more, but I don’t have to be as restrictive or careful when meal planning. This recipe came about because when I got home from Wednesday cardio someone had eaten all of the leftover pizza I had been looking forward to all day. So I improvised. I had some leftover Tofurky slices and FlatOut wraps from my mini kebab meal prep last weekend, so I grabbed…

    Gardening and Thrifting Fun

Happy June! For the first time in my memory, I’m enjoying the warm, summer weather. It’s been the 80s the past few weeks and I was loving it, though I could do without the humidity. I consider myself a fall girl and have dreaded summer in years past. I’ve gone the past two summers without air conditioning and my hair expands larger in width by the minute during Minnesota’s humid summers. Now I can’t wait to get outside (with SPF on) to get some sun on my skin, lay out at the lake, and get some yard work done. This spring has inspired me to try new things that I even previously…

    Healthy Tuna Salad

This week’s recipe was once again found on Pinterest – find the Pin here and follow my Pinterest. I only recently tried tuna, and was surprised at how similar it tasted to salmon, so I’m looking to try some new recipes with it. Last week we added a few cans of the fish into the some ramen noodle salad to get the protein macros up. Then I found a mayo-free tuna salad recipe on Pinterest with only a few ingredients, the flavoring ingredients being red onion and cilantro. I ended up tweeking my recipe a bit and added some mayo, but you can use Greek yogurt in its place or omit it…

Protein Pancakes & Banana Oatmeal Cookies

Pancakes and cookies while on a cut? Sure – if they’re made to fit my macros! These are two super easy recipes to have on hand not just for a cut, but anytime you have a sweet tooth. PROTEIN PANCAKES Pancakes have always been my favorite breakfast item since I was little and my mom would make them the size of the plate. These aren’t quite as big when all said is done, but they’res still tasty! I’ve been making these pancakes for a while now and it can be modified with additional ingredients, like chocolate chips, cinnamon, peanut butter powder, sprinkles – whatever you like. 1/2 C cottage cheese…
