5 Things I No Longer Buy

I’ve been making a lot of changes in my life the past few months. If you’ve been following me, you’ll know that last year I went on a budget to pay off my debt. With that, I’ve become more mindful with my purchases and overall consuming less. At first, I quit fast fashion moving towards buying the majority of my clothes second hand. Shopping second hand for clothing has opened my mind to other items from my daily routine that are simply unneeded or aren’t bringing value to my life. And if there is something I’m in need of, there’s usually a selection at the thrift store I can browse…

    3 Healthy Changes to Make

Recently, I’ve been making some changes. If you’re following my Instagram or read my recent blog post on becoming debt-free, then you’ve probably noticed this. In general, I’m trying to make a lot of healthy changes that contribute to me being more balanced. Being a better person everyday. I’d like to think that I’m a fairly healthy person. I’m not going to lie, 2017 crept up on me and feel like I forced out a list of resolutions just because it was the New Year. Now that a month has gone by (and things have slowed down from the craziness of the holidays) I feel like I have an actual grasp on what I want to work on this year. Fitness Goals Back in November, I switched my training program from powerlifting…

    Happy Thanksgiving | 2016

Thanksgiving is a special time of year for me because it’s near my birthday, and sometimes even falls on my birthday. In fact, I was born on Thanksgiving so the holiday is always a good day for me. I love watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving parade. I love the food, despite not having eaten turkey since high school. It’s also the start of the holiday season. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve grown to love Christmas and all that comes with, not taking any of it for granted. I’ve taken this time of year to relax on tracking my calories and macros, not worry about being on a strict gym schedule, and enjoy my…
