how I stay organized | plan with me

I decided to give the good, ole planner a shot again in 2019. Some may think that physical planners are a thing of the past, but I disagree. To me, there’s something very satisfying about writing down tasks and crossing them off your list once complete. Since switching back to a traditional pen and paper planner, I feel more organized with work and social activities. And it’s a bit of stress reliever! I pretty much live by my planner. I use it to plan my gym routine, work tasks, social activities, and also to write down experiences throughout the week. In 2018, I was doing more of what I would…

    where i buy clothes secondhand

Recently, I shared my reasons for quitting fast fashion and it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made in the past few years. Since I’m no longer buying from traditional stores at the mall, I’ve started exploring new options for adding clothing and accessories to my closet. This had led me to get creative when searching for specific items and also have a more open mind to secondhand clothes in general. Looking Forward | 2017 Goals

Last year I put my New Year’s Resolutions out there to keep myself accountable and this year I’m doing it again. This year’s goals are more in-depth than last years and also I’m not making quite as many for myself. Having goals is important because it keeps you accountable and gives you motivation. I like having lists and things written down to go back to a check off or to remember to do. Downsize and Declutter A few weeks ago I got home from Christmas shopping, and while I was out I bought an eye shadow palette for myself. I had wanted this palette for a long time, but when I…

Influenster Sprout VoxBox | Quick Reviews

I recently received my second VoxBox from Influenster*, a website for bloggers and social media users. Basically you sign up for the site (free to anyone, not just bloggers and YouTubers) and based on your social media impact and preferences, the company sends you different products to try. I received my first one of these boxes around Christmas, shortly after I signed up for the site. In that box I received mostly makeup and a few other odds and ends. I’m happy to report that this time around I received products geared more towards a healthy lifestyle, fitness, and a few skin care items. I posted an update a while back explaining…

Clothing Declutter & Overhaul | Spring Cleaning

Now that I have a grasp on my clothing style for business casual, it’s time for an overhaul of my closet. It’s getting warmer here so I’ve been shopping for some new summer clothes that are also work appropriate. I have tons of summer dresses and cute skirts, but not many that I feel comfortable wearing to work. It’s not that they’re too short, but given my height already and being my age I want to dress the part for my job – I like looking nice. That being said, I also want to keep some of my summer dresses and short skirts for weekend wear and going out. There’s no…
