Fitness Gifts for Her | Shopping Guide

Christmas time and the holidays are here! Honestly, I’m almost done with my shopping, but if you’re just getting started and need a little guidance, I’ve got some picks for the fitness lover in your life. This list is more focused towards women, whether it’s your girlfriend, close friend, co-workers, or your mom.

There’s something here for everyone and you can’t go wrong with any of these picks. Happy shopping!

BlenderBottle | While you’re getting the traditional 28 ounce bottle we all know and love, pickup a 20 ounce shaker as well as a stocking stuffer. The 20 ounce bottle is perfect for on the go to throw in your purse and the 28 ounce bottle is ideal for at the gym or a larger protein shake. I love my BlenderBottles and always choose to travel with it over my other water bottles. The design with a loop is perfect for attaching to a backpack or purse while running through the airport or hiking.

Compression Pants | If there’s one thing I’m a sucker for when I’m shopping for workout clothes, it’s printed compression pants. These are a huge trend and it’s hard to go wrong when picking a color or print. Old Navy offers a wide selection of colors, designs, and sizes. I personally love shopping in their online petite selection, and they also offer a tall, plus, and maternity sections. There’s tons of stores that selling compression or workout pants, just make sure that the material is “squat proof” for the person who will receive the gift.

Booty Shorts | In addition to compression pants, booty shorts are another huge trend among fitness ladies. I received these Feed Me Fight Me Donut Shorts for my birthday and I love them! They’re a little flashy for the gym so if you’re worried about people staring at you doing a workout, there’s tons of other options available – check these out from Old Nayvy.

Fitbit | If you’re looking for something on the higher end of things, consider purchasing her a Fitbit or activity tracker. I’ve had a Fitbit for over a year now and I love it – I upgraded to the Fitbit Charge this past spring, and it’s perfect for my cardio and lifting sessions. Fitbits come in a variety of styles and colors, so you can get one that will match her new BlenderBottle. My workout gear has a purple them to it and I rock it at the gym.

BCAAs | If the gal in your life lifts heavy and hard, then I recommend some BCAAs (branched chain amino acids). If you want more information on BCAAs, check out or another credible source of information, but many athletes take BCAAs as a part of their nutrition program to improve muscle recovery. My personal favorite at the moment are the BPI Best BCAAs Arctic Ice – it tastes like a bomb pop! This is also a great pick that goes hand in hand with a BlenderBottle.

A Gym Bag | If you’re looking for a simple, can’t-go-wrong gift for a fitness gal in your life, a gym bag is perfect. It’s one of those items that I didn’t buy for a long time because I didn’t feel like it was needed. Now that I’ve been lifting for a few years, my bag carries a bit more than at the beginning of my journey, including water bottles, BCAAs/preworkout, a lifting belt, a couple pairs of shoes, and a change of clothes. I’ve had an Adidas bag similar to this one for a while now and it’s held up great – check out what’s I keep in my gym bag here. There’s a lot of options out there for sizes and colors – I recommend picking her favorite color!
